Film music: “Rare Treasure”
One of the great pleasures of making the film was working with two great and talented friends and musicians, Mark Rivett and Jonathan Zwartz. A good deal of the sound track comes from Jonathan’s new album ” The remembering and forgetting of the air”(to read more about the musicians on that album go my my personal blog at neiltlawrence.com) I will post some of this music very soon. The music over the closing credits which sees Paulus thumbing through a book of his more recent clay work was composed by Mark and has a distinctive Appalachian feel. Mark (pictured above) plays all the instruments with mandolin as the lead, with Jonathan providing bowed upright bass. Mark has called the piece “Rare Treasure”. Indeed. I hope you enjoy it, and feel free to pass it on any friends who would like it. Click here Rare Treasure
